COVID-19 Information

 

In these changeable times we will continually review the information on this page and update it regularly.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we will be reopening in May.

​

We have followed Government Guidance to make your visit as safe and comfortable as possible.

​

The social distancing rules do mean that our seating capacity has reduced considerably in the restaurant and we have therefore introduced a 2-hour slot for our diners. Similarly, to ensure the chefs observe the social distancing rules in our kitchen, there may be a slightly increased wait time for some dishes. Obviously, we will still strive for the best possible service and look forward to welcoming you.

You can also expect some new safety procedures (including but not limited to):

  • Enhanced procedures and training for our staff regarding hygiene, including self-declaration health questionnaires and daily temperature checks

  • Face coverings to be worn by guests whilst entering and moving around the venue

  • Temperature checks for guests upon arrival

  • Hand wash/sanitising stations provided at all entrances for guests and work areas for staff

  • Moveable screens where required

  • Use of personal protective equipment by staff

  • Enhanced and regular cleaning regimes covering all touch points and toilet suite

  • Adjustments to the restaurant layout, service and staff rotas to reduce the number of guests and staff in any area

  • A “No handshaking policy”

  • A one-in-one-out toilet system

  • Disposable food menus

  • Parents of children to be responsible for ensuring their children observe social distancing measures

  • A requirement to confirm attendees of a party are a party of 6 or from only two households

  • A table time of 2 hours

  • Anti-bacterial wipes available
